The Story Behind the Shirt
Worn during Hull City’s 2006/07 Championship campaign, this amber and black striped shirt comes from an important period in the Tigers’ rise through English football. The club had only returned to the second tier the previous season and was beginning to establish itself at that level before going on to achieve its historic first promotion to the Premier League in 2008. Its traditional colours and bold BONUS Electrical sponsor make it a distinctive piece from Hull City’s mid-2000s era.
